FAQ - Frequently asked questions and answers about our sound mockups:

Question:
The components in the dummy sound boxes are arranged differently, does that mean anything?
Answer:
No. The reason is that, depending on availability, we fall back on different manufacturers of the housings or batteries. The function remains the same for all types!

Question:
What do the buttons on the board inside the boxes do: P / P / Mode or Repeat or +/-?
Answer:
Important: All settings that you make on the buttons are only effective as long as voltage is applied, that is, as long as the timer switches to "on". Once the play time has been interrupted once, all settings are reset. or the volume to 100%. Therefore the volume of the files should be controlled directly via the sound file (see instructions above). Reason: We use different components here and combine them in an unusual way to be able to offer a working dummy sound that can meet all needs.

Question:
I also looked at the sticks. There are the swifts files on it. Where can I find the swallow files?
Answer:
If your dummy sound does not play the desired sounds, please contact us (shop@gruenstifter.com).

Question:
Do the solar panels need direct sunshine for charging or do they charge even in diffuse light / shade?
Answer:
The solar panels should have a "clear view" upwards (no shading from the roof, tree, etc.) - they also supply enough electricity when the sky is cloudy!

Question:
How do I have to change the battery. In one box the charge indicator only lights up with a red light - in the other with three?
Answer:
You do not need to change the battery. A charge level indicator with "two lights" is sufficient for operation. If you have any problems during the breeding season, please contact us immediately.

Important: When not using the dummy sound (storage), please always set the switch on the outside to "off (0)" so that the batteries are not over-discharged. In addition, you should regularly maintain the batteries with a trickle charge (suitable charger) during storage.
